Abeona CCS joins Carbon Management Europe

Rijswijk, 9 juni 2026 – Abeona has joined Carbon Management Europe (CME), the European platform that brings together industry, research organisations and policymakers to accelerate the deployment of industrial carbon management across Europe. 

 For Abeona, joining Carbon Management Europe is an opportunity to exchange knowledge with organisations across the European CCS value chain while actively contributing to the further development of CO2 transport and storage infrastructure in Europe.  

The decarbonisation of industry requires more than individual projects. It also requires collaboration between project developers, industry, governments and knowledge institutes. Platforms such as Carbon Management Europe play an important role in sharing experience, discussing policy developments and supporting the further deployment of CCS in Europe.  

 As Abeona continues to develop concepts for CO₂ transport and storage in the Netherlands, participation in Carbon Management Europe provides valuable opportunities to learn from other initiatives and contribute practical project experience to discussions on industrial carbon management.
